Dr. Tobias C. Long

Dr. Tobias C. Long is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon. Before founding Lancaster Plastic Surgery Associates, he served as the Division Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center.   He also holds an appointment as Adjunct Assistant Professor at Penn State College of Medicine.

Dr. Tobias C. Long

Dr. Long completed his undergraduate degree in Bioengineering at The Pennsylvania State University in 2008, followed by his medical degree from The Pennsylvania State University School of Medicine in 2012.  He then completed his integrated residency in Plastic Surgery at Case Western Reserve University College of Medicine from 2012 to 2018. During his time in Cleveland he had the privilege of training under internationally renowned plastic surgeons such as Bahman Guyuron, MD and Daniel Medalie, MD.  After residency, he served as Director of Wound Care and Regenerative Medicine and Clinical Assistant Professor at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center from 2018 to 2021.


His research and clinical interests span several areas, including cosmetic surgery, wound care, and surgical innovation. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, with notable work on fluid dynamics in pediatric ventricular assist devices early in his career and later publications focusing on plastic surgery techniques and outcomes. Dr. Long has also made significant contributions to medical education, developing multiple educational modules for the Plastic Surgery Education Network (PSEN) in areas such as hair restoration, laser procedures, and cosmetic procedures.


Dr. Long is an active member of several professional societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), where he has served as Chair of the Aesthetic Group on the Education Network Committee. He is also a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). He maintains board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and Ohio.


Throughout his career, Dr. Long has demonstrated a commitment to advancing the field of plastic surgery through his clinical work, research, education, and leadership roles. His diverse background in bioengineering and medicine has informed his approach to complex surgical challenges and medical innovation.


Briana Garcia - Customer Experience Manager 

With a wealth of experience in the service industry, Briana "Bria" Garcia brings a deep passion for hospitality and customer care to Lancaster Plastic Surgery. Her dedication to excellence ensures that every patient receives personalized attention and a seamless experience from consultation to recovery. 


Currently pursuing her nursing degree, Bria combines her medical knowledge with her exceptional service skills to provide compassionate, informed support to patients throughout their journey. Whether answering questions, coordinating appointments, or offering a reassuring presence, she goes above and beyond to make your experience a success.

Jessica Heidecker Long - Nurse Manager

Jessica is our Nurse Manager. She has a diverse nursing background, including experience in the Emergency Room (ER) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Cleveland Clinic. She has also worked in a wellness spa, where she developed a passion for patient-centered care and holistic wellness. In her current role, she focuses on patient safety, education, and ensuring a seamless surgical experience. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, running, and spending quality time with her husband and their three children.

At LPSA, your privacy is our priority. We understand that choosing to undergo a procedure is a personal decision, and we are committed to respecting your confidentiality every step of the way.  While some patients are comfortable sharing their surgical outcomes, many prefer to keep their journey private.  In recognition of this, we do not display before-and-after photos on our website. 


Instead, we offer the opportunity to review examples of our work during a private consultation.  This allows you to make informed decisions in a discreet and supportive setting, knowing that your privacy is always protected.
